ImageQuest Dives into Managed Services with Continuum Platform

By Clayton Hamshar

ImageQuest is a relatively young company that started out as an office equipment dealer (OED). The company quickly underwent a transformation into a managed services provider (MSP) and currently offers a comprehensive suite of managed Information Technology (IT) services. Continuum, a channel-exclusive provider of fully integrated managed IT solutions, developed the services that are the basis of ImageQuest’s offerings.

The company leverages a range of services built on the Continuum platform that are vital to helping customers improve technology utilization, effectively scale their business, and unlock substantial new revenue opportunities. Through the platform, ImageQuest is able to offer options such as Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), a Network Operations Center (NOC) for technical support, Help Desk for outsourced end user support, Continuity247 for Backup & Disaster Recovery (BDR) and Tech Advantage for remote IT project management.

The management of IT systems is increasingly outsourced to service providers, as the cost of maintaining an in-house IT staff that is large enough for a growing business and skilled enough to deal with a wide range of constantly-evolving technology is becoming more and more unwieldy and inefficient. Through the Continuum platform, ImageQuest is able to help organizations deploy highly functional critical IT systems that are supported with top-notch technical assistance and network support to eliminate hindrances to network uptime, security measures and issue resolutions.

In addition, ImageQuest provides services such as email management, managed security, cloud hosting, IT hardware procurement, 24/7 monitoring and oversight and comprehensive management of servers, desktops and devices. The company’s preventative maintenance procedures and unrestricted support for all hardware and software needs take a massive load off the shoulders of its customers so they are able to focus entirely on their core business processes and not worry about what’s happening under the hood. With better performance and productivity, it's much easier to drive a growing customer base and bring about significant revenue increases.

Continuum has driven a number of advances in ImageQuest’s offerings and capabilities through the provision of its platform services, resulting in this complete transformation from OED to MSP. ImageQuest plans to continue phasing out the old portions of its business and with the incorporation of Continuity247 will reach a level of nearly 100 percent managed services.
