Zetta.net Reports Massive Growth Compared to 2013

By Oliver VanDervoort

Zetta.net has been working for quite a while in order to make itself one of the true authorities to look to in the MSP (Managed Service Providers) and SaaS (Software as a Service) fields. It appears that work has massively paid off, considering the company recently announced that it has seen some truly explosive growth in SaaS-based cloud backup. The firm has also seen great growth in the disaster recovery (DR) space as well as overall growth of more than 279 percent in the first half of 2014 and an increase in its partner network of more than 357 percent when compared to the same period of time in 2013.

The growth can be directly credited to the number of MSPs and enterprise companies that are embracing cloud backup services more than ever before. The companies in these fields are embracing these technologies thanks to a drop in the complexity and overall cost of working in these vectors.

"Against the other vendors in the hybrid cloud backup arena, Zetta.net's primary differentiators are speed and its software-only approach, which, compared with appliance-based alternatives, can translate into lower costs." 451 Research Analyst Dave Simpson pointed out in a recent release.

Zetta.net seems to have found a winning combination by offering up cloud backup and DR solution that not only does something other companies are still working on perfecting, but it automates the backups and provides flexible options that users love. The solution also offers companies an easy way to recover data from a web browser, or a mounted drive or local storage. This flexibility and ease of use will likely lead to continued big time growth in the near future.
