Alteryx is hoping partners can help promulgate its strategic analytics software through its Alteryx Analytic Partner Program, which now counts six new members.

The three year-old company aims its tools at lines of business analysts who can deal with structured and unstructured data coming in from a variety of sources. On the analysis side, it supports spatial, statistical view predictive capabilities.

“Line of business analysts and users from a range of industries – including Communications; Retail; Marketing, Data and Analytic Services; Restaurants; Real Estate; Healthcare; Financial Services and Hospitality – use Alteryx to make critical decisions that drive their business strategy and growth,” the company said. “Customers like Experian Marketing Services, Ford, McDonald's, Sprint and Wal-Mart rely on Alteryx daily for strategic analytic decisions.”

The partner program counts MSPs, as well as ISVs, VARs, and system integrators as members. New partners include BIPB, The Information Lab, InsightOne Nordic, MIP, Pervasif and USEReady.

“Today's data analysts need to move beyond legacy solutions and have access to an easy platform to blend, analyze and share data,” said Seann Gardiner, vice president of business development at Alteryx. “The Alteryx partner network is expanding globally to meet the demand of these analysts; to provide the latest in analytic tools, complimentary visual offerings and deep industry knowledge - these partners provide their clients with just that.”

Partners range from those that service the finance industry to data a service (DaaS) and BI companies: “Partnering with Alteryx adds significantly to our ability to help customers easily make sense of data without specialized training,” said Tom Brown, director at The Information Lab. “Our expertise with Tableau, combined with our partnership with Alteryx, equals analytic freedom for the business user - no more coding or complex infrastructures. Alteryx and Tableau are part of the new analytics stack, and The Information Lab is excited to empower our users with these solutions.”

Another partner praised the Alteryx technology for its simplicity: “USEReady is known for making complex technology simple, and that demands we deliver the most innovative and intuitive products to the market,” said Alex Spiewak, vice president of sales and marketing at USEReady. “Our partnership with Alteryx aligns perfectly with our mission to make technology a seamless and easy experience, and will immediately impact how our customers combine, work with and share data.”

Analytics Market on the Rise

Business analytics is a hot market according to IDC, which says it is growing 9.8 percent a year and will hit $50.7 billion in 2016. A big factor in this big growth is big data:

“Driven by the attention-grabbing headlines for big data, and more than three decades of evolutionary and revolutionary developments in technology and best practices, the business analytics software market has crossed the chasm into the mainstream mass market," noted Dan Vesset, program vice president for IDC's Business Analytics Solutions unit. “The demand for business analytics solutions is exposing the previously minor issue of the shortage of highly skilled IT and analytics staff.”
