French MSP Coreye Implements CA Nimsoft Monitor; Predicts ROI within 18 Months

By Laura Stotler

French managed service provider (MSP) Coreye is using the CA Nimsoft Monitor to enhance its service quality along with reducing the cost to deliver IT services. The company specializes in hosting and managing strategic applications for its customers.

Coreye is using the CA Nimsoft Monitor to unify monitoring of its IT infrastructure performance. The solution has already produced results, including an increase in productivity. The MSP expects a return on investment (ROI) within 18 months of implementing the offering.

CA's IT management solution is helping Coreye to change its business model and differentiate itself from other MSPs. The company is focused on developing applications tailored to its customers in the healthcare and e-commerce industries, as well as others. Coreye has worked to develop a vertical focus, having achieved 15 percent growth last year and expecting the same growth rate this year. CA Nimsoft Monitor will complement the company's growth plan.

Coreye operates a multi-tenant IT infrastructure featuring databases, a variety of business applications running on various platforms, and more than 1,000 components. CA Nimsoft Monitor is being used to manage the infrastructure, and may be scaled to monitor additional components as needed.

"Replacing five monitoring products with one allows us to monitor the performance of our entire IT infrastructure," said Camille Cacheux, CEO of Coreye, in a statement. "CA Nimsoft Monitor enhances our ability to assure our customers' application service levels and allows us to provide them with detailed reports adapted to the requirements of their specific business. For example, whereas e-commerce operators need to verify that each transaction is included in their inventory management, customers in the health industry are focused on the availability of their web portal and the integration of medical analysis data. CA Nimsoft Monitor offers a level of customization that serves as a major differentiator."

System integrator and distributor ObjectLine helped Coreye with the selection and implementation of the CA solution after conducting a detailed analysis of the expected ROI using CA Nimsoft Monitor.

"CA Nimsoft Monitor offers many advantages," said Philippe Fery, CEO ObjectLine. "It is notably fast to deploy and particularly well-built for multi-tenant environments. Its multi-platform web console helps provide customized reporting, with the appropriate level of granularity."

"The automated control and industrialization of our monitoring processes has stepped up productivity and reduced our costs," added Cacheux. "The ROI was calculated to be 18 months. After six months in production, I can confirm that figure."
