ZixCorp Announces Policy-Based E-Mail Encryption Appliance, ZixGateway 4.5

By Jody Ray Bennett

E-mail encryption service provider, Zix Corporation (ZixCorp), announced the release of its ZixGateway 4.5, set to offer greater control over the data of its customers to managed security service providers (MSP), according to heraldonline.com.

ZixGateway 4.5 will be available to MSPs from the beginning of February and will enable them to both identify and gather customer information efficiently, using new domain filtering technology, thus affording customers insight into e-mail encryption, communication and regulatory compliance.

ZixGateway’s automated reporting tool, for example, enables the automatic delivery of custom data reports to customers. This increases encryption transparency to customers and improves MSP productivity.

According to Complete Data Products, Inc.’s Director of Strategy and Business Development, Joel Abramson, ZixCorp have always been a pleasure to work with and ZixGateway is another manifestation of that. They have a history of listening to their customers, Abramson went on to explain, and developing products based on those needs.

ZixCorp has also invested considerable resources into partner program improvements, for the benefit of its MSP customers, and is confident that the resulting increased revenue percentages for its customer base will both build on its existing partnerships and expand its total partner base.

Virtual Graffiti was made the 2012 ZixCorp Partner of the Year and has been a partner with the company since 2008. It is among ZixCorp’s 174 VAR partners and other 100 MSP partners.

President and CEO at Virtual Graffiti, Hillel Sackstein, explained that the ever-evolving ZixCorp Partner Program was particularly beneficial to their bottom line, allowing them to pass greater discounts on to their own customers, and improve both customer satisfaction and relationship-building as a result.

Vice president of Channels at ZixCorp, Steve Irons, also explained that while ZixCorp is happy with the service it provides to its partners and customers, it is nonetheless constantly striving to improve. This policy of constant evaluation and evolution to promote growth is in line with both its desire to fully support the changing needs of its existing customers, and its understanding that what is good for its customers is good for the company.
