Evolve IP Provides Cloud Services to Junior Achievement

By Robbie Pleasant

Junior Achievement (JA) of Delaware Valley is gaining new cloud services, thanks to Evolve IP. The cloud services company is providing JA with its cloud services, providing it with cost savings and a way for staff to work remotely, helping it reach, help, and educate the youth in the mid-Atlantic region.

Junior Achievement is now seeing many the benefits of cloud services, including Unified Communications to improve its productivity and reliability without needing to pay for and maintain premise-based systems. The staff also receives Evolve IP’s Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) for their tablet devices, gaining remote access to the data and applications that Junior Achievement uses.

Furthermore, Junior Achievement can now access vServer, Evolve IP’s private cloud service, over private connectivity. When they do, it functions as though the servers were still right in the data center, maintaining the same level of productivity without the capital expenses or time and money consuming management and maintenance that on-premise servers require.

“Now we can focus even more of our efforts on our youth programs instead of IT maintenance,” says Junior Achievement of Delaware Valley’s president, Paul Kappel. “Evolve IP’s virtual desktop solution is truly amazing. We’re experiencing real productivity gains and have turned into a mobile unit. I never knew we could do so much on an iPad without making costly system upgrades.”

Evolve IP is doing a great deed by helping Junior Achievement. This will allow JA’s staff to provide the best services and assistance possible, while focusing its expenses on programs that help prepare the area’s youth to enter the job market. The cloud services it’s providing are working wonders for JA, which has a record of success in preparing students for what lies ahead. Evolve IP is investing in the future, and it’s a good investment to make.
