Cloud Distribution Adding Even More Value to VADs

Cloud Distribution is a UK-based distributor of new and innovative networking and security solutions for VARs that distributes products such as Meraki, SplashChimp, and more. Founded in 2009, the company prides itself on promoting network and security solutions that resellers can use to stand out from the competition and to create new niches.

As of January 21st, Cloud Distribution has pulled out all the stops in order to locate “next generation” vendors in networking and security that can wreak havoc on the UK market's current status quo. As such, they have hired Adam Davidson to acquire new vendors for Cloud Distribution's disruptive portfolio. Davidson's role will be to find companies with forward-thinking technology solutions looking to gain ground in the UK market, which Cloud Distributors will be able to help them do using their value-adding system.

Davidson has brought forth a variety of tools for efficiently moving new solutions from development to market. His team has custom solutions for each new product including launch packs that are specific to each vendor; high quality sales, presales and technical training, a virtual marketing team, and an end user pipeline generation platform.

One reason that Adam Davidson is such an asset to Cloud Distribution is that he has experience being on the start-up side of the equation. He expressed that “there is a real need for a 'next-generation distributor'–a company that is willing to put evangelistic effort” into new and relatively unknown vendors.

Cloud Distribution's Managing Director, Scott Dobson, emphasized the need to “be truly adding value,” a term he sees as being bandied about much too casually in the current industry. The present economic circumstances dictate that distributors need to be actively adding value, rather than just calling themselves value-adding distributors or resellers. Cloud Distribution, however specializes in adding value and presenting innovative and disruptive technologies that can be rapidly repackaged and market by VARs.

Cloud Distribution has successfully propelled a number of vendors into the UK market and hopes to continue sourcing innovative solutions in the future.
