Earlier this year, fellow MSP Today writer Greg Tavarez (and my editorial teammate for the upcoming MSP Expo 2025) wrote a great piece about EasyDMARC, a vendor of the cloud-native email security and deliverability platform. (Read it here.)
Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting and Conformance (DMARC), as we know, is the global standard that helps protect against phishing and other forms of nasty email spoofing. By verifying the sender's authenticity, DMARC ensures that emails received are truly from the intended source. And in Tavarez’s article, he described how “organizations can gain highly valuable insights into email traffic so they can identify potential security breaches promptly” with EasyDMARC’s one-stop solution.
Recently, I covered EasyDMARC securing $20 million in a Series A funding round, as well. At the time, EasyDMARC CEO Gerasim Hovhannisyan commented on how the funds would be used to, quote, “strengthen our channel partner ecosystem across Europe, the U.K., the U.S., and APAC, providing MSP partners with additional resources and streamlined processes to better serve our end-customers.”
Well, in the vein of strengthening partners within its orbit and building towards future successes, the company just earlier today made a pertinent announcement:
EasyDMARC announced the official appointment of Allan Richards as its new Global MSP Growth Lead.
Richards, who formerly oversaw North American Sales at OpenText, is a seasoned cybersecurity channel sales expert with nearly two decades’ worth of experience currently under his belt. Now at EasyDMARC, Richards will be responsible for — to use this word again, as previously mentioned — “strengthening EasyDMARC’s global partner relationships, particularly across the U.S., U.K., and ANZ regions.” (This lines up with the usage of the company’s recently banked funding.)
Additionally, EasyDMARC’s announcement detailed how a.) Richards will also focus on ensuring seamless onboarding and support experiences (while providing the necessary resources, technical training and support to empower partners to effectively market and sell DMARC solutions), and b.) Richards’ appointment comes at quite an opportune time, as the email security regulatory landscape is having to ramp up how it adapts to threat actors’ increasingly sophisticated (and often AI-powered) phishing contrivances. MSPs are under intense microscopes, so to speak, when it comes to the pressure of offering unquestionably comprehensive security solutions to protect clients.
This is why Hovhannisyan is thrilled to welcome Richards to the EasyDMARC team.
“We’re doubling down on our channel strategies, and Allan’s extensive experience in cybersecurity channel sales (combined with his track record of partner success) will be instrumental in helping us expand our partner ecosystem while providing the best-possible resources to achieve consistent DMARC revenue. Allan’s deep understanding of the cybersecurity industry and MSPs’ needs will be critical in providing effective and personalized partner enablement across our priority markets.”
Of course, Richards himself also commented.
“EasyDMARC already has a strong reputation as a DMARC provider, and I’m excited to be joining the team to simplify email deliverability for our partners and their clients,” he said. “By providing our partners with the necessary training, tools and resources, we can expand DMARC's reach, help boost partner revenue, and enhance their clients’ overall security posture. I look forward to personally collaborating with more partners, supporting our joint marketing efforts, and building upon EasyDMARC's success as a trusted DMARC solutions provider.”
