8x8 offers cloud-based communications services to enterprises across the globe. It works with approximately 47,000 businesses to provide business phone systems and complete contact center software for the benefit of employees and customers alike. Now it has added a significant partnership to its ranks to boost sales and distribution throughout the six continents in which 8x8 already works.
Telarus has now begun a partnership with 8x8 to distribute the portfolio of communications products it makes available. As a master agent that distributes products on behalf of more than 80 vendors, this is Telarus’ purview. It has accepted this joining with 8x8 to extend its offering of cloud-based communications products to a range of customers in many markets. Telarus CEO Adam Edwards commented that this partnership will benefit its sales partners by giving them the chance to offer an alternative to the on-premise software such partners have long offered.
“Telarus is now proactively participating in building a comprehensive cloud communications portfolio, aimed at helping our sales partners be successful and grow their business. Together with 8x8, we will address the needs of those businesses who have relied on selling on-premises communications systems by providing more secure, reliable, and cloud-based solutions,” Edwards said.
Vik Verma, the CEO of 8x8, was also vocal about this partnership that will have two giants in their industries combine forces.
“Telarus is a renowned and reputable master agent, and by utilizing its immense network, 8x8 will be able to assist companies of all sizes in their migration to the cloud,” Verma noted.
It is in the nature of companies to want to expand. Telarus has been busy in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, investing in large countries such as Singapore, the Netherlands and Brazil, while providing support for a range of languages including French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. That extended reach and enhanced capability for multi-language support shows Telarus’ dedication to being a master agent and its viability as a manager of product resale.
8x8’s Verma spoke positively of the nature of Telarus and its capability to work for its partners. Verma’s words underscore the importance and quality of this deal, and each side should benefit from the expertise of the other.
