Carolina Panthers Select Toshiba as Team's Office Equipment Provider

By Ben Linton

The Carolina Panthers have chosen Toshiba American Business Solutions as its official office equipment and service provider for the 2014 season. The team is using a number of Toshiba's e-STUDIO products throughout the organization. The equipment will be implemented at the Panthers' Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina, and at its training camp facility at Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

“Having Toshiba as a partner has been a great asset to the Panthers,” said Carolina Panthers Director of Sponsorship Sales, John Berger. “Their products are used by every department from football operations with playbooks to producing handouts for human resources. Toshiba’s team is always looking to help the organization operate more efficiently.”

Toshiba is a leading managed print services (MPS) provider based in Irvine, California. The company's color multifunction printers (MFPs) produce all of the Panthers' playbooks, depth charts, and individual game plans throughout the team's 16-game regular season schedule. Toshiba's e-STUDIO products scan and transfer playbooks to players' and coaches' tablets, allowing the Panthers organization to prepare for games via mobile devices. Aside from printing game preparation materials and even player contracts, Toshiba’s print fleet fulfills a comprehensive array of content management needs for the Panthers’ administrative employees, according to Business Wire.

In the extremely competitive world of the National Football League (NFL), communication is key. Having the best and most advanced technology helps teams succeed on Sundays. It's also imperative that teams are organized so they can increase efficiency and productivity. Both the Panthers and Toshiba hope that this partnership will lead to positive results on the field this season.
