MSSP Secure Designs Receives High Scores in Forrester Market Report

Managed security service provider (MSSP) Secure Designs Inc. has been evaluated in Forrester Research's (News - Alert) January 2013 report, "The Forrester Wave: Emerging Managed Security Service Vendors, Q1 2013." The company received high scores in a number of areas, including service level agreement (SLA) adherence, client reference and client success metrics.

The Forrester report focuses on emerging MSSP players that offer comprehensive and professionally delivered security services. Some companies included in the research are offering cloud-based service delivery, while others resell services through the MSSP reseller channel.

The research company finds that companies are growing at rates of approximately 30 to 40 percent per year and also possess great technical depth and flexibility. Secure Designs offers both managed security products and services throughout the U.S., with a specialization in advanced and easily managed and affordable solutions for the SMB segment.

The MSSP manages thousands of firewalls in 35 U.S. states and five countries and is continuously rolling out new technologies to add to its portfolio of offerings. It uses a proprietary cloud-based remote management system to give clients a complete multilayered network perimeter defense plan that is dynamic and flexible.

Secure Designs' services are delivered via a stand-alone, telecommunications carrier-class data operations and network center. It features redundant air conditioning, fire suppression and automatic diesel generator power backup. Security services include e-mail spam filtering and encryption, disk encryption, virus scanning and continuous data backup services.

"We are excited to be included in this Forrester Wave report," said Larry Cecchini, president and CEO at Secure Designs. "We believe that it is a recognition of our achievement in overcoming the great barriers to creating a scalable, economical and profitable model working with small businesses."

"We have excellent technical resources, a highly skilled team and an unparalleled suite of proprietary and industry-leading technologies," added Cecchini. "These allow us to provide Fortune 500-level Internet security to even the smallest companies that require the same level of protection and peace of mind but don't have the deep pockets of larger enterprises."
