ArmorPoint and TD SYNNEX Partner to Combat Rising Cyber Threats, Empowering MSPs and Customers with Robust Security Solutions

By Erik Linask

In response to the escalating need for cybersecurity solutions to combat an evolving threat landscape, cybersecurity solutions provider ArmorPoint and IT distributor and solutions aggregator TD SYNNEX have announced a new partnership.  The arrangement will bring ArmorPoint’s comprehensive Managed SOC solutions, powered by its advanced SIEM platform, to TD SYNNEX’s global network of customers and partners.

This partnership alliance comes at a crucial time with businesses facing increasingly sophisticated and frequent cyber attacks, making robust cybersecurity measures and absolute must.

Indeed, the urgency for strong cybersecurity has never been greater.  Cyber attacks are not only becoming more frequent but also more sophisticated, targeting businesses across every industry.  Globally, the cost of cybercrime is projected to reach more than $15 trillion annually by 2029

Attacks can range from ransomware that cripples operations to data breaches that erode customer trust and result in significant financial and reputational damage.  IBM pegs the average cost of a data breach at $4.88 million, underscoring the immense financial and operational risks businesses face.

“As cyber attacks become more frequent and sophisticated across virtually every industry, the demand for cybersecurity solutions and support is at an all time high,” said David Trapp, ArmorPoint CEO.  “We’re ecstatic to partner with TD SYNNEX to equip customers with critical cybersecurity and cyber attack prevention.”

For businesses, especially SMBs with limited in-house IT security expertise, keeping pace with the evolving threat landscape and managing cybersecurity effectively is an overwhelming challenge.  This is where MSPs play a vital role and are uniquely positioned to provide cybersecurity solutions to businesses that lack the resources or expertise to manage it themselves.  In fact, larger enterprises are also starting to see the benefits of working with MSPs to either supplement or replace their in-house expertise.

By partnering with cybersecurity specialists like ArmorPoint, MSPs can offer their clients comprehensive, enterprise-grade security services that would otherwise be unattainable or unaffordable or, at the very least, are difficult to manage and maintain.  Businesses need partners that can not only manage their IT infrastructure, but also proactively protect them from cyber threats.

For MSPs, that makes cybersecurity a significant business opportunity, allowing them to expand their service portfolios, increase revenue streams, and solidify their position as trusted advisors, while delivering more value to their customers.  Offering robust cybersecurity solutions is not just a value-added service for MSPs; it has become a fundamental expectation from clients.  In fact, recent data suggests that 90% of MSPs expect to see cybersecurity growth within their organizations, and security-related services are the top contributors to revenue in the coming years.

ArmorPoint’s partnership with TD SYNNEX addresses this critical need.  ArmorPoint’s Managed SOC solutions offer a centralized and fully managed threat detection and response capability, combining SIEM, EDR, and network and cloud security capabilities.  This comprehensive approach provides TD SYNNEX’s global customer and partner network with robust, 24/7 cybersecurity support, alleviating the burden of constant threat monitoring and management.

“TD SYNNEX is committed to uniting IT solutions that deliver business outcomes today and unlock growth for the future,” said Cheryl Day, SVP at TD SYNNEX.  “With ArmorPoint added to our vast portfolio of vendor partners, we’re able to enrich the breadth and depth of our cybersecurity offerings so customers can do great things with technology.”

Specifically, the ArmorPoint Partner Program empowers MSPs, MSSPs, and resellers within the TD SYNNEX ecosystem to offer managed cybersecurity program management services to their clients.  This program provides partners with the necessary tools and resources to expand their service offerings, create new revenue streams, and deliver enhanced value to both existing and new clients.
