The results for the 2024 MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations: Enterprise have been revealed and SentinelOne has demonstrated its dominance in cybersecurity for the fifth year. The company’s AI-powered Singularity Platform achieved 100% detection accuracy and zero delays in identifying threats.
In a rigorous simulation of 80 attacks across various stages, SentinelOne detected every single one, maintaining flawless accuracy and enabling real-time responses to threats. Its granular technique detection was also consistent across all major operating systems — Windows, Linux, and MacOS — showing its versatility in safeguarding diverse IT environments.
The platform also generated 88 percent fewer alerts than other vendors evaluated.
This year’s MITRE ATT&CK® Evaluations introduced significant changes to enhance real-world relevance. A false positives simulation was included, incorporating benign activities to mimic real-world noise and test how well platforms could maintain accuracy without inundating analysts with unnecessary alerts.
The testing process also shifted to analyst-operated evaluations, where MITRE analysts directly managed the platforms, ensuring the results reflected authentic user experiences within Security Operations Centers.
The 2024 evaluation also focused on ransomware targeting Windows and Linux and sophisticated malware operations on MacOS. SentinelOne’s platform detected threats early in the kill chain, showcasing its real-time detection capabilities and ensuring robust protection against modern cyber risks.
“When it comes to defending against modern cyber attacks, three things matter: speed, accuracy, and low noise, and SentinelOne’s AI-powered approach delivers on each of them,” said Ric Smith, President, Product, Technology and Operations, SentinelOne.
“As validated by the latest evaluation, SentinelOne Singularity provides autonomous and comprehensive detection, out of the box, with zero delays across 100% of attacks, while eliminating noise and surfacing genuine threats. MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations have long been the gold standard, and we strongly believe that participation in these evaluations gives customers transparency they can trust, while driving vendors to focus their innovation on protecting customers from today’s and tomorrow’s real-world threats.”
