Keep Sensitive Data Protected with LastPass and TD SYNNEX

By Greg Tavarez

The internet is like a vast city, filled with countless buildings (i.e. websites) and valuable treasures (i.e. information). As this city grows, so does the risk of theft and break-ins. Cybersecurity protects this digital city from cybercriminals who want to steal valuable information.

One of the biggest targets for these cybercriminals is digital identity. This includes things like passwords, bank account details and personal information. Just like a physical thief needs a key to enter a building, a cybercriminal needs credentials, like usernames and passwords, to access online accounts.

To combat this, companies are developing credential management solutions. These are like digital safes that securely store credentials to make it more difficult for cybercriminals to break in. A good credential management solution is easy to use, like a simple lock and key, but also offers strong protection, like a high-security vault.

By offering these trusted and easy-to-use solutions, MSPs can differentiate themselves and attract customers. And resellers and MSPs recently acquired an easier path in delivering secure, reliable password and identity management solutions to their clients.

LastPass, a provider of password and identity management solutions, entered a strategic partnership with TD SYNNEX, a global distributor and solutions aggregator for the IT ecosystem, to simplify the purchasing process for IT resellers and MSPs in North America by offering streamlined access to LastPass’ solutions through TD SYNNEX’s trusted distribution network.

LastPass offers a range of solutions to help individuals and businesses secure their digital lives. For individuals, LastPass offers password management, secure sharing, password generator, dark web monitoring and encrypted file storage.

For businesses, features include enterprise password management, single sign-on, MFA, emergency access and advanced security features like risk-based authentication and adaptive security policies.

“By teaming up with TD SYNNEX, we’re delivering an elevated partner experience designed to help ensure that partners’ customers can confidently manage their credentials anytime, anywhere, without compromising on privacy or protection,” said Jessica Couto, vice president of global channels and alliances for LastPass.

TD SYNNEX customers, partners, resellers and MSPs can set up and deploy LastPass licenses for their customers in a matter of hours. Additionally, TD SYNNEX customers can leverage LastPass’ enablement and marketing collateral.

"TD SYNNEX is committed to uniting IT solutions that deliver business outcomes today and unlock growth for the future," said Cheryl Day, Senior Vice President, New Vendor Acquisition and Global Solutions at TD SYNNEX. "With LastPass added to our comprehensive portfolio of vendor partners, we're able to enrich the breadth and depth of our offerings so customers can keep their sensitive data protected."
