MSPs play such an important role when it comes to supporting the IT needs of countless SMBs. However, to effectively manage these operations, MSPs of course require powerful and reliable software solutions.

ConnectWise is a provider of such tools, as well as being a Gold sponsor of MSP Expo 2025, taking place February 11-13, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For over four decades, ConnectWise has been dedicated to the success of its partners. The company's commitment to innovation has resulted in a suite of software solutions that include professional services automation and remote monitoring and management tools.

These solutions, along with a host of other cybersecurity and data protection offerings, are designed to help MSPs tackle a wide range of IT challenges.

To continue to deliver cutting-edge solutions to MSPs, specifically in the IT channel, ConnectWise recently appointed David Raissipour as the Chief Product and Technology Officer.

Raissipour is an experienced product development executive with over three decades of experience across a diverse set of enterprise and consumer products. He most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Product Officer at Mimecast.

In his new role, Raissipour is leading the charge in driving product development at ConnectWise. His primary focus is on realizing the company's ambitious vision of introducing the industry's inaugural MSP Platform, powered by the ConnectWise Asio Platform. This involves spearheading technological advancements and continually innovating core products like ConnectWise RMM and PSA.

"As the CPTO, I am committed to ensuring seamless operations throughout ConnectWise's product development process, optimizing our technological resources to their fullest potential,” said Raissipour. “My primary objective is to meet our partners' demands by providing exceptional products such as PSA and RMM and delivering the first MSP Platform to the IT Channel through Asio."

Having a leader like Raissipour is a strategic move for ConnectWise that will undoubtedly have an impact on the company's future. This dedicated leadership role will drive the development of cutting-edge solutions that address the dynamic needs of MSPs. This could include anything from enhancing existing products like RMM and PSA to introducing groundbreaking new offerings.

"We recognize the significance of this role in fulfilling our commitment to MSPs by delivering innovative solutions that bring enhanced efficiencies, cost savings, and user-friendly experiences to businesses worldwide,” said ConnectWise CEO Manny Rivelo. “We remain dedicated to investing in research and development to empower our partners to thrive."

ConnectWise is a Gold sponsor of MSP Expo, taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, February 11-13, 2025. MSP Expo is the premier event for MSPs, offering a three-day experience combining conference education, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall full of the latest technologies and solutions to help MSPs build their business, and more.
