Silobreaker Boosts US Presence with ThreatQuotient Partnership

By Greg Tavarez

Across our sites (specifically MSP Today and Cloud Computing Magazine), we often mention how businesses face a constant barrage of threats from cybercriminals, hackers and geopolitical instability. To stay ahead of the curve and protect their assets, organizations need access to accurate, timely and actionable intelligence.

Luckily, for businesses there is Silobreaker, which can be your, quote, "secret weapon" against cyber threats. It's like a super sleuth, scouring the dark corners of the internet to find hidden dangers before they strike. Think of it as your personal intelligence analyst, always on the lookout for the latest threats and opportunities.

Additionally, Silobreaker is a good weapon for security experts through its reseller program. As a reseller, you'll get exclusive access to their threat intelligence platform to offer your clients protection against cyber threats.

And now, Silobreaker announced it expanded its U.S. reseller program through a strengthened partnership with threat intelligence platform innovator, ThreatQuotient.

ThreatQuotient is a platform that helps security teams improve their threat detection, investigation and response. It combines different data sources and tools to make it easier for teams to identify and prioritize threats, automate processes and collaborate on security incidents.

ThreatQuotient also offers features like integration with other tools, data management, orchestration and automation to support various security tasks such as threat intelligence management, incident response, threat hunting, spear phishing, alert triage and vulnerability management.

The collaboration will see Silobreaker using its vast datasets from open, deep and dark web sources to enrich the ThreatQ Platform. The goal? To provide organizations with advanced capabilities to contextualize technical threat indicators and analyze unstructured threat information at scale.

Here’s how it works:

On-demand querying will allow users to easily access and query Silobreaker’s dataset using intuitive search terms from the ThreatQ Platform. Silobreaker’s dataset provides powerful insights on threat indicators, as well as advanced correlation of high-relevance entities from Silobreaker documents, including malware, threat actors, attack types and more.

Key use cases include threat monitoring across open sources and the deep and dark web, vulnerability tracking, enhanced credential monitoring and indicator enrichment for IPs, domains and subdomains.

“Our partnership with Silobreaker enables us to deliver even deeper insights into real world threats, so customers can accelerate understanding and harden their defenses,” said John Czupak, CEO of ThreatQuotient. “These critical insights enable customers to ensure that incident handlers, malware researchers, SOC analysts and investigation leads gain more control, and are able to take the right steps at the right time to better manage risks.”

This strategic move only underscores Silobreaker's commitment to working closely with resellers to deliver higher levels of threat intelligence solutions while delivering a seamless and powerful user experience.

“This integration not only enhances our collective offerings but also provides organizations with a sharper, more holistic view of potential threats,” said Kristofer Mansson, CEO of Silobreaker. “Together, we enable our partners and customers to gain the crucial insights needed to make proactive, informed decisions to protect their organizations."
