TD SYNNEX Expands Security Offerings with eSentire's MDR and SOC Solutions

By Greg Tavarez

Happy Monday, readers. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

I know, I know. It is Monday, but hey. Let’s power through the week to make it to a well-deserved Labor Day weekend.

With that, let’s discuss eSentire and TD SYNNEX.

eSentire is a cybersecurity company that offers MDR services to protect organizations from cyber threats. The company’s MDR services include exposure management and incident response that focus on protecting critical infrastructure and utilize AI-powered technology, 24/7 threat hunting and experienced security experts to help organizations anticipate, withstand and recover from cyberattacks.

TD SYNNEX is a distributor of IT products and solutions. They help customers maximize the value of their technology investments and achieve business growth. With a focus on emerging technologies like cloud, cybersecurity and AI, TD SYNNEX offers a wide range of products and services from over 2,500 technology vendors.

After announcing the expansion of their partnership, eSentire’s all-in-one, 24/7 multi-signal MDR and Security Operations Center Services are now available to North American partners through TD SYNNEX.

For TD SYNNEX customers, eSentire's service bundles provide value, including faster threat detection and containment, enhanced cybersecurity compliance and fast threat response times.

“More than 90% of security spend goes through the partner ecosystem,” said Bob Layton, eSentire’s Chief Channel Officer. “That ecosystem of trusted partners, MSPs and advisors need simple, high-value offerings to serve their clients – eSentire and TD SYNNEX are providing frictionless solutions that snap-in to channel partner solutions and deliver unmatched cyber protection.”

eSentire's MDR and SOC services offer a rapid time to value, with service onboarding completed in just 14 days on average. They provide unlimited incident handling, 24/7 threat hunting and comprehensive attack surface coverage.

The Threat Response Unit helps with continuous threat hunting, detection rule development, and threat intelligence operationalization to strengthen customer defenses. As for eSentire's leadership in GenAI (through its MDR for GenAI Visibility solution and Insight Portal eSentire Investigator application), eSentire equips customers with natural language-based investigation, response and remediation tools.

Additionally, the flexibility to choose between bringing your own technology or opting for a fully managed solution allows organizations to consolidate their service protection. With 24/7 support and a rapid mean time to contain of 15 minutes, eSentire helps reduce the risk of downtime for its customers.

“With eSentire added to our vast portfolio of vendor partners, we're able to enrich the breadth and depth of our offerings so customers can do great things with technology,” said Scott Young, Senior Vice President of Product Management at TD SYNNEX.

Furthermore, as part of eSentire’s expanded relationship with TD SYNNEX, they introduced new service offerings that include CrowdStrike endpoint and identity protection, coupled with eSentire’s 24/7 SOC and Managed Detection and Response support. Additional eSentire packages with its proprietary Atlas MDR Agent are also available.
