N-able Expands Windows 365 Management with Enhanced Cloud Commander Capabilities

By Stefania Viscusi

N-able Inc., a provider of IT service management solutions, announced the expansion of its Windows 365 management capabilities within the N-able Cloud Commander platform. The enhanced functionality, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, allows MSPs and cloud solution providers (CSPs) to efficiently manage an array of Microsoft Cloud services from a single console.

As businesses increasingly rely on cloud-based solutions, the need for better management tools has grown. N-able Cloud Commander addresses this by offering multi-tenant management of Microsoft users, Azure resources, and Microsoft Intune.

This latest update from N-able integrates Windows 365 management, so MSPs and CSPs can oversee Windows 365 Cloud PCs across various editions, including Business, Enterprise, and Frontline.

Key features include the ability to monitor critical parameters for Windows 365 Cloud PCs, such as provisioning status, power state, and connectivity. Administrators can also perform essential actions like refreshing, renaming, rebooting, and reprovisioning devices, with support for bulk operations.

The platform now also offers a streamlined approach to license management. A new product licenses page allows administrators to manage and optimize Windows 365 licenses, including shared licenses like those for Windows 365 Frontline.

“MSPs are expected to manage a lot of different environments, alongside physical devices through Intune, Azure virtual machines, and Azure Virtual Desktop. When adding the growth of Windows 365 to the mix, viewing all these assets in a single location is extremely important in making their business run efficiently—and in turn, making their small and medium-sized customers efficient. That’s what makes N-able's collaboration with Microsoft so beneficial. N-able Cloud Commander helps MSPs manage the Microsoft Cloud for their clients while helping them be more secure and profitable,” said N-able Chief Technology and Product Officer, Mike Adler.
