“Our eyes are on the prize when it comes to cybersecurity,” writes the team at cybersecurity service firm Assura, Inc. “So, we think unconventionally. We break norms. We think outside the box. This means achieving top-notch security for the little guys, the mid-sized ones, and the big guys, too. Why? Because everyone is on a level playing field, and we’re going up against the bad guys.”
An endearing message from Assura.
Assura has its sights set on democratizing cybersecurity, and to them that isn’t a far-fetched notion; protecting businesses’ data and their customers’ data by making “industry-best” cybersecurity approachable and attainable without settling is the Assura priority. (The “Assura Assurance,” if you will.) Assura takes compliance off businesses’ plates (and guarantees they’ll pass all necessary regulatory audits) while monitoring, responding and protecting orgs around the clock. We’re talking about managed detection and response (MDR), penetration testing, precise threat identification, disaster recovery solutions and so on.
Speaking of security, let’s also discuss Stellar Cyber, a provider of what its team describes as “world-class security products for the 99%.” Stellar Cyber knows how big of a headache cybersecurity woes can be, which is why they turn security alerts and IT data into easily analyzed, searchable and actionable information. Intelligent automation (coupled with Stellar Cyber’s human touch) leads to MSPs and MSSPs taking advantage of enriched security alerts, logs and telemetry, as well as investigative AI that automatically analyzes and correlates collected data to identify cyber threats.
Stellar Cyber’s long-story-short of it?
The delivery of critical capabilities in a unified, automated platform powered by Open XDR. (Read more on that here.)
So, the present situation – Assura in one hand, Stellar Cyber in the other.
The logic is right there, y’all.
That’s why Assura and Stellar Cyber recently announced their partnership. And the official announcement itself spells it out nicely:
“Founded 17 years ago, Assura recognized the importance of cybersecurity and the need to deliver cutting-edge solutions. Now, its partnership with Stellar Cyber represents its first adoption of a natively AI-driven solution for its Managed SIEM and XDR services.”
Joshua Cole, CTO and co-founder of Assura, worded it succinctly, as well.
“In a bake-off between multiple competing platforms, Stellar Cyber’s AI-driven Open XDR platform could detect breaches way quicker than the competing platforms,” Cole explained. “Yes, we would’ve found those breaches eventually, but the mean time to detect, or MTTD, was orders of magnitude lower with Stellar Cyber.”
With Stellar Cyber’s AI-driven platform outperforming many of Assura’s competitors, Assura will now be able to expand its own service offerings without the burden of weighty costs. And it’s an obvious win-win for Stellar Cyber, too; they gain a partner with deep defensive ops experience.
All-around solid news, we’d say.
