Following $16M Funding Round, Cytactic to Scale its Cybersecurity Crisis Platform for Teams in Need

Let’s talk about cyber crisis readiness and management tactics. (And, speaking of tactics, Cytactic.)

Let’s break this down, shall we?

First, a cold fact: In today’s world, cybersecurity breaches are a virtual inevitability, one that often looms tall over individuals and entire businesses alike. Recent reports speak to this in great detail; according to Gartner’s data, “75% of IT organizations will face heavy ransomware attacks by 2025.” (This ain’t a ten-years-off kind of study, either; this literally concerns next year.) With the average data breach costing $8.64 million as of 2023, Gartner highlights how a.) regulations are tightening in both the United States and in Europe, and b.) professional liability and insurance woes are becoming even more critical for CISOs, underscoring an urgent need for greater levels of resilience when it comes to cybersecurity.

Just last week, Cytactic announced the success of its $16 million seed funding round led by renowned cybersecurity venture capital fund Evolution Equity Partners (EEP).
