A Smart Ally for MSPs: Molly Lindsay Appointed as Pia's New Vice President of Marketing

A Smart Ally for MSPs: Molly Lindsay Appointed as Pia's New Vice President of Marketing

By Alex Passett

Happy first day of July – already halfway through 2024, folks. Not to overuse an already time-worn phrase, but “that’s crazy” still feels pretty apt, given the many crazy, boy-time-sure-does-fly goings-on we’ve already experienced this year.

Anywho, let’s get down to brass tacks and take a moment to talk about Pia.

Pia, for those unaware, is an AI-led automation platform built for MSPs and IT service desks. The team behind Pia’s solutions aims to share in the full potential of hyperautomation in order to streamline processes, free up resources, and improve widespread operational efficiencies. From Pia’s beginning as a regional-based MSP itself – to present day as an award-winning resolver of day-to-day challenges faced by MSPs and enterprise IT – Pia’s M.O. is to continue ensuring seamless workflow capabilities that adapt to businesses’ evolving needs.

That, as fate would have it, leads us to news that dropped just earlier this morning:

Pia has announced that Molly Lindsay will be its new Vice President of Marketing, effective in one week (i.e. July 8).

Lindsay brings with her nearly 15 years’ worth of expertise in the MSP space; particularly from ConnectWise and CoderPad, where she spearheaded digital product marketing and cybersecurity strategizing (at the former) and comprehensive go-to-market initiatives (at the latter).

“The time is right to focus on growing our U.S. team, and we are thrilled to have Lindsay leading the charge,” said Gerwai Todd, who himself was named CEO of Pia this past spring. “Her proven track record of customer-centric strategies and strong background in product marketing make her an ideal leader to propel Pia forward.”

The official announcement also noted how – in her role at Pia – Lindsay will “manage key industry events and flagship conferences in the U.S. to enhance customer relationships and expand Pia’s presence in the North American market.” She will reportedly also make certain that Pia remains an active MSP community contributor, in terms of helping businesses embrace AI and transform their services.
