Scalefusion and B2M Team Up to Proactively Manage Mobile Devices

By Greg Tavarez

“Less than 2% of IT leaders say their MDM/EMM is giving them the insights and intelligence needed to proactively find and fix problems as they occur,” said Gary Lee, CEO of B2M Solutions, referring to data provided by B2M Solutions.

Mobile device management, or MDM, tools are software solutions that help organizations manage and secure the mobile devices used by their employees. These devices can include smartphones, tablets and even laptops in some cases.

MDM allows IT admins to remotely configure, deploy apps and set security policies for all devices on the network. MDM tools also enforce strong passwords, enable encryption and remotely wipe a lost or stolen device to protect sensitive company data.

There are also more advanced versions of MDM called enterprise mobility management, or EMM, and unified endpoint management, or UEM, that offer additional functionalities like managing mobile content and integrating with other enterprise systems.

Going back to Lee’s quote, the lack of control over mobile devices, combined with the need for reliable technology for employees shows the importance of better MDM/EMM solutions. In fact, nearly all IT leaders surveyed see value in having smarter mobile device management tools.

B2M Solutions focuses on making business mobile technology more reliable and easier to manage. Their core product, Elemez, is different from traditional mobile device management tools. Instead of just reacting to problems, Elemez constantly monitors devices, apps, batteries and connections in real-time. This lets businesses identify and fix issues before they cause disruptions, improve overall mobile device performance, and save money by reducing unnecessary maintenance.

In short, Elemez helps businesses get more value out of their mobile technology.

Partnering with Scalefusion, the unified endpoint management solution ProMobi Technologies, Elemez adds intelligence to mobile device management. With this bundled solution, customers will leverage lower costs and improve their overall TCO of enterprise mobility by obtaining advanced analytics into the business-critical devices.

"At Scalefusion, our customers obtain real-time insights into battery status, data usage, storage capacity and connection quality through our DeepDive analytics,” said Amit Ponam, Sales Director - North America, Scalefusion. “With B2M's Elemez, they get even more detailed reports on device and application usage, license allocation, lost devices, proactive real-time battery health, and device, network and data performance.”

The collaboration creates a solution that better equips operations teams with the right tools they need to help them manage their mobile devices efficiently as well as make more informed decisions.
