Vega Cloud Expands Reach with FinOps-Focused Partner Network

By Greg Tavarez

Businesses of all sizes have embraced cloud computing, having been drawn to its scalability, agility and potential for cost savings. Still, managing cloud infrastructure efficiently can be a complex task and can lead to uncontrolled spending and wasted resources.

To address this challenge, cloud management platforms like Vega Cloud offer solutions to optimize cloud costs and maximize efficiency. So, in a move to widen its reach and better equip businesses in their cloud journey, Vega Cloud recently announced the launch of its partner program. This program supports value-added resellers, systems integrators and MSPs specializing in cloud financial management.

Vega Cloud's platform focuses on providing multi-cloud visibility and cost optimization capabilities. By integrating with various cloud providers, including AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform, it delivers insights into cloud resource utilization, identifies cost-saving opportunities and automates optimization processes.

The partner program offers several benefits to participants, including:

  • Profitable revenue opportunities: Partners can leverage Vega Cloud's platform to expand their service offerings and generate recurring revenue streams by letting clients optimize their cloud spending.

  • Technical expertise and support: Vega Cloud provides comprehensive training and support programs to better equip partners with the knowledge and resources necessary to effectively sell and implement their platform.

  • Marketing and sales tools: Partners gain access to co-branded marketing materials and sales tools designed to facilitate client acquisition and retention.

  • Dedicated partner management: A designated partner success team within Vega Cloud provides ongoing assistance and guidance.

Vega Cloud plans to cultivate a diverse network of partners with varying levels of expertise and geographic reach. The program offers tiered partnership levels, allowing partners to progress based on their commitment and performance.

“Our goal is to help partners build predictable and repeatable revenue streams around cloud cost optimization while enriching customer relationships,” said Vega Cloud’s EVP of Business Development Brandon Tanner, who has worked in the IT channel for over 20 years. “Cloud buyers want to trim costs but simply chopping programs that rely on cloud services can cause significant setbacks. Our solutions automate, analyze, right-size and govern the use of cloud services, so customers can save money and retain the tools they need to be successful.”
