Veeam Unveils Cyber Secure Program for Enterprise Ransomware Protection and Recovery

By Stefania Viscusi

Veeam Software, a provider of data protection and ransomware recovery solutions, has introduced the Veeam Cyber Secure Program, an initiative designed to empower enterprises in the battle against ransomware attacks.

With this latest move, Veeam is leveraging its purpose-built technology and a team of experts to offer a multi-faceted approach to preparing for, protecting against, and recovering from cyber threats.

The Veeam Cyber Secure Program provides customers with a holistic security solution, commencing with pre-incident support. This includes architecture planning, implementation assistance, and quarterly security assessments to ensure robust preparation.

In the event of an attack, the program connects customers with Veeam's dedicated Ransomware Response Team, facilitating rapid recovery through post-incident support.

The program's key components include Confident Security, offering meticulous design and implementation assistance to uphold Veeam's best practices and security standards. It also includes advanced onboarding support and quarterly security assessments by Veeam experts to further fortify the security posture of Veeam environments.

For comprehensive support during a cyber incident, enterprises enrolled in the Veeam Cyber Secure Program also have access to the Ransomware SWAT team, a group of experts available 24/7 with 30-minute service level agreements (SLAs). This team, also known as ransomware recovery 'black belts,' is equipped to take immediate action during a crisis.

Customers receive dedicated Support Account Managers for assistance and escalation, along with access to specialized senior support engineers with deep product expertise.

To bolster financial protection, Veeam has also introduced the Veeam Ransomware Recovery Warranty, providing enterprises with up to $5 million in data recovery expense reimbursement for verified attacks. This warranty, combined with the assurance of rapid recovery from clean and reliable backup data, ensures that enterprises can confront cyber threats with confidence.

This latest program offering will provide organizations with the peace of mind they need in an increasingly challenging cybersecurity landscape.

“With the new Veeam Cyber Secure Program, we ensure customers are prepared for any cyber threat and when the worst happens they can recover as quickly as possible. The new program is designed to ensure customers follow data protection best practices with Veeam solutions, enabling them to not just bounce back from an outage or data loss but to bounce forward. By providing the shortest gap between incident and recovery, our customers can keep their business running without disruption,” said John Jester, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at Veeam.
