Veeam Software Strengthens ProPartner Network Program

By Greg Tavarez

Veeam Software, a provider of data protection and ransomware recovery, is on a mission to help every organization not just bounce back from a data outage or loss but bounce forward. With Veeam, organizations achieve radical resilience through data security, data recovery and data freedom for their hybrid cloud.

For Veeam's reseller and MSP partners, Veeam offers benefits and support through its ProPartner Network Program. And as market conditions change, the program needs to change with it.

Therefore, Veeam officially announced new enhancements to its Veeam ProPartner Network program to help its 35,000-plus partners across 150 countries capitalize on the surging demand for data protection and ransomware recovery solutions. The updates emphasize predictable profitability, increased business security and enhanced partner enablement. This is to make certain that partners are well-equipped to guide their customers on their journey to radical resilience in the face of mounting cyber threats and unpredictable outages.

The key enhancements to the program concentrate on three core areas. There are initiatives aimed at simplifying partner tiers with clearer qualification criteria and benefits, facilitating faster onboarding and progression. Additionally, there's a focus on enhancing deal registration incentives and protection periods to ensure partners are adequately rewarded for their efforts, alongside promoting Veeam Cloud Connect and subscription-based offerings to drive higher profitability and customer retention.

In terms of business security, measures include extending deal protection windows to prevent channel conflict, providing increased access to Partner Marketing Funds with simplified usage guidelines and offering enhanced support structures with dedicated partner success managers for higher-tier partners.

Lastly, there are efforts directed toward expanded training options and certifications, particularly in emerging technologies like cloud data management and ransomware protection. A comprehensive online portal with improved resources, tools and marketing assets is provided to facilitate efficient sales and marketing activities. Collaborative marketing initiatives, joint demonstrations and sales enablement tools are also emphasized to accelerate deal cycles and facilitate faster business closures.

“Veeam is a partner-first company. Partners have been a critical element in Veeam’s success and will continue to be at the center of our continued growth,” said Larissa Crandall, VP of Global Channel and Alliances at Veeam. “Throughout 2024, Veeam will be announcing a series of new program enhancements through collaboration with partners, alliances and GSIs that will strengthen our overall partner ecosystem and enable radical resilience in a world where our technology is protecting customers from a growing range of threats to their data and business continuity.”

The Veeam ProPartner Network enhancements come at a time of explosive market growth for Veeam. The company recently achieved the No. 1 market share position in Data Protection and Ransomware Recovery according to industry analysts IDC, Gartner and NSS Labs.

This momentum, coupled with the growing cybersecurity concerns and data protection needs of businesses worldwide, creates a lucrative opportunity for Veeam partners.
