Stellar Cyber and SentinelOne Automate Advanced Threat Detection

By Greg Tavarez

Cyber threats are becoming more sophisticated and evasive by the day with the likes of malware, ransomware and targeted attacks. Traditional security measures like firewalls and antivirus software are often left playing catch-up, which is obviously not good. Data breaches and cyberattacks can have crippling consequences – loss of sensitive information, operational disruptions and reputational damage.

Threat detection and response is an investment in peace of mind. TDR actively hunts for malicious activity within systems, analyzing user behavior and detecting anomalies even if they haven't been documented as threats yet. By quickly isolating infected systems, containing the attack, and initiating remediation measures, TDR can prevent minor incidents from escalating into full-blown disasters.

Stellar Cyber, a player in the threat detection and response field, and its Open XDR platform deliver comprehensive, unified security without complexity. With Stellar Cyber, organizations reduce risk with early and precise identification and remediation of threats while slashing costs, retaining investments in existing tools and improving analyst productivity.

Stellar Cyber is seeking ways to make advancements with TDR solutions. I wrote an article about how they teamed up with BlackBerry to integrate Stellar Cyber’s Open XDR Platform with Blackberry’s CylanceENDPOINT to make sure blind spots are covered.

Now, the innovator of Open XDR technology is looking to add automation and plans to do so with the integration with SentinelOne, a provider of AI-powered security.

Together, the two will deliver a security operations solution that automates the identification of advanced threats by correlating threat signals from various data sources, providing security analysts with the contextualized threat information they need to mitigate threats.

Key benefits include:

  • Enhanced Visibility: “Line of sight” visibility across the entire attack surface from endpoints to the cloud and everywhere in between.

  • Intelligent Automation: From hands-free threat detection to automated investigation tools, a security team's human expertise is paired with the best automation available today.

  • Easy management and deployment: The combined solution means security analysts of any expertise, from beginner to seasoned experts, can deliver consistent security outcomes.

“We focus on partners that deliver value to our customer base, and Stellar Cyber checks that box,” said Akhil Kapoor, Vice President of Technology Partnerships, SentinelOne. “With the out-of-the-box integrations available from Stellar Cyber, our customers can supercharge their security operations without any heavy lifting.”

With SentinelOne and Stellar Cyber combined, customers can be fully automated, eliminating the ability for threat actors to take advantage of built-in delays and blind spots that exist in other security stacks. Ultimately, this reduces the risk of your company being breached.

“Our partnership with SentinelOne delivers a unified turnkey security solution to our customers,” said Andrew Homer, Vice President, Strategic Alliances, Stellar Cyber. “Working with SentinelOne means we can help protect our mutual customers from breaches.”
