By Stefania Viscusi

Brewery conglomerate Carlsberg Group has chosen intelligent internet company Expereo to help with its digital transformation. Per the partnership, Expereo will manage Carlsberg's internet connectivity across an expansive network spanning 40 countries and 160 sites.

Known for its innovative solutions such as Global Internet, SD-WAN/SASE and Enhanced Internet, Expereo will now implement and oversee a new internet underlay network that will ensure uninterrupted performance for Carlsberg's operations, which includes its extensive workforce, partners, and customers.

With a portfolio that boasts some of the world's most renowned beer brands, including Tuborg, Kronenbourg 1664, Poretti, and Carlsberg itself, and over 40,000 employees, the company is one of the largest in Denmark.

Laurent Gaertner, Global Director of Networks at Carlsberg, commented, ”We wanted a partner that understands the internet and brings us unrivaled connectivity wherever we are located enabling us to consolidate our network infrastructure as we move from several regional service providers with fragmented technical solutions to one integrated network and security stack. We look forward to the ongoing partnership and continuing our journey to accelerate Carlsberg’s digital transformation.”

With help from Expereo, the internal IT team can concentrate on high-priority tasks while providing a managed internet service from a single, reliable partner.

“The real-time visibility and insight into network performance enabled by expereoOne will be a game-changer for Carlsberg and partners, providing them with actionable insights and control over network performance and management,” said Ben Elms, Chief Revenue Officer at Expereo.
