By Stefania Viscusi

In a strategic move to fortify its position as a premier provider of cloud-first security solutions, Barracuda Networks has announced the expansion of its leadership team with the appointment of Patrick O'Donnell as Senior Vice President of Worldwide MSP Sales.

With a career marked by global leadership roles at industry giants such as IBM and GE, O'Donnell brings a wealth of experience to Barracuda. His most recent role as Vice President, North America Sales at Datto provided him with invaluable insights into cultivating and advancing an MSP-focused business. As the newly appointed SVP, Worldwide MSP Sales at Barracuda, O'Donnell will leverage his expertise to drive the company's MSP sales initiatives to new heights.

This strategic move also aligns with Barracuda's vision to further empower MSPs with robust and innovative cloud-first security solutions.

"We are pleased to welcome Patrick to the Barracuda team," said Neal Bradbury, SVP, MSP Business at Barracuda. "As we continue our journey with our channel partners, Patrick brings valuable knowledge and expertise that will help us generate more opportunities for Barracuda and our partners to drive sales growth and achieve shared success."

Barracuda Networks is a globally recognized provider of cloud-centric security solutions trusted by over 200,000 customers worldwide. It helps companies to safeguard their employees, data, and applications from an array of threats and provides easy, comprehensive, and affordable solutions including email protection, application protection, network protection, and data protection.

In his new role, Patrick will take charge of accelerating MSP sales, spearheading the go-to-market strategy, execution, and programs for the sale of security, data protection, and Managed Extended Detection and Response (XDR) offerings through the channel.  His expertise and direction will help to empower Barracuda partners, ensuring they achieve new heights of shared success in the dynamic landscape of cloud-first security solutions.

"I'm excited to join Barracuda and eager to collaborate with the team to build on the tremendous partner momentum they have established within the channel," said O'Donnell. "Managed service providers are an increasingly important part of the channel ecosystem, and through its growing investments, Barracuda is committed to delivering industry-leading value to its growing partner base."
