Dataprise Strengthens its Reach Across US with PEI Acquisition

By Greg Tavarez

Dataprise, founded in 1995 and a portfolio company of Trinity Hunt Partners, is dedicated to enabling their clients to excel in their respective fields through technology. Dataprise is known for being a strategic managed service and security partner to CIOs and IT leaders nationwide.

Their services encompass managed cybersecurity, disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS), managed infrastructure, cloud solutions and managed end-user services. These offerings are aimed at transforming businesses, improving user experiences, and mitigating diverse IT risks.

But even with offices across the U.S., over 500 employees and support for more than 2,000 clients, Dataprise has not let its foot off the gas when it comes to expanding its reach.

So, the provider of managed IT services and cybersecurity solutions recently acquired PEI, an IT services provider in Boulder, Colorado. This will bring Dataprise into the Colorado market and deepen its Microsoft practice expertise.

“PEI's client-for-life commitment, three-decade track record, and mature Colorado-based IT service operations makes them the perfect fit for Dataprise as we expand our national footprint," said William Flannery, CEO of Dataprise.

PEI, founded in 1988, offers services such as IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, managed IT, cloud solutions and IT consulting. PEI effectively tackles the most challenging business problems for its 250 clients in Colorado, with a commitment to building lasting relationships.

Partnering with Dataprise further empowers PEI's clients with access to enterprise-grade technology foundations that are known for enhancing cybersecurity, fortifying business resilience and driving business achievements through technology.

PEI also possesses a broad presence in Colorado, an area where Dataprise had limited operations. This positioned PEI as an ideal inclusion in Dataprise's endeavor to implement their strategy of establishing a nationwide footprint in providing enterprise-level technology services with a personalized approach.

"Becoming a Dataprise company is a powerful step forward for our company and creates immense benefits for both our clients and employees," said Tim Krueger, CEO of PEI. "In Dataprise we found a partner that shares our passion for client success, embraces our commitment to innovation, and dramatically expands our managed services portfolio."

PEI was represented by Flatirons Capital Advisors.
