ConvergeOne Brings in Industry Veteran to Drive Next Phase of Growth

By Greg Tavarez

According to Statista, the global IT services market is projected to reach $1,241.00 billion in 2023. Relatedly, ConvergeOne, or C1, is in the midst of that growing market as it offers solutions in cloud infrastructure, customer experience, cybersecurity, and for data centers, enterprise networking and unified communications.

More than 10,000 customers use C1 daily to help them build meaningful connections through innovative and secure experiences, and their Net Promoter Score, or NPS, of 80 places them in the World Class category for the fourth consecutive year, which is a testament to their ability to provide customers with a high level of customer satisfaction, responsiveness and deep domain expertise.

There is little doubt that C1 are among the IT services providers that are transforming the industry by creating connected experiences that make a lasting impact on customers, their teams and communities. Now, C1 also has the person in place to help them deliver that elevated experience after appointing industry veteran John "JD" DeLozier as Chief Revenue Officer.

In his new position, DeLozier will be responsible for driving and maximizing revenue growth across C1's portfolio of customer experience, security and networking solutions and leading the C1 sales organization.

DeLozier is known for his people-first leadership style and his commitment to delivering elevated customer and human experiences. With his guidance, C1 aims to unlock customers’ growth by creating deeper and more secure, scalable, and human connections.

“With JD at the helm of our sales team, we are better positioned than ever to scale our products and solutions and deepen our customer relationships with transformative technologies," said Jeffrey Russell, CEO of C1.

DeLozier is a seasoned industry leader with over 25 years of experience in driving customer expansion strategies at Intelisys, 8x8, CenturyLink, Unify and other organizations. He was most recently the president of Intelisys before stepping away from the position in late August.

Throughout his career, DeLozier has achieved accolades that are a testament to his vision, innovation and advocacy of the indirect channel during a time of transition and convergence. His leadership and expertise have played a pivotal role in developing and overseeing partner-focused programs aimed at helping channel partners transform their technology offerings.

DeLozier was also featured as a keynote speaker at ITEXPO where he discussed buying habits and how sellers should be influencers, especially in a hybrid distribution world. What's more, being a keynote speaker at ITEXPO lets folks know that the industry pays attention when DeLozier speaks.

So yeah, DeLozier’s extensive expertise in the sector and go-to-market execution capabilities are certain to help bolster C1’s position in the industry as it embarks on its next phase of growth. DeLozier will report directly to Russell.

"I believe in the team and its vision of elevating customer and team experiences while removing boundaries to create deeper and more secure, scalable and human connections,” said DeLozier. “I look forward to working with the sales team and the entire C1 organization and its partners to maximize our potential as a builder of value and enabler of growth for our customers and their customers."
