Invoke Expands Security Services with MXDR Capabilities

By Greg Tavarez

One thing most can agree on is that the cyber landscape changes, and it changes often. So, the main issue is that the adoption of new technologies (like cloud, AI and IoTs) further complicate the security demands for many enterprises

Therefore, implementing safe cybersecurity best practices is important for individuals as well as organizations of all sizes. Cybersecurity tactics such as using strong passwords, updating your software, thinking before you click on suspicious links and turning on MFA are the basics of what we call “cyber hygiene” and improve your online safety.

There are times, though, when companies need guidance on what best solutions to pick for their needs. Invoke, a Microsoft partner, prescribes and delivers technology journeys. They offer expert guidance for modern work, security, cloud services and application innovation. Invoke is on a mission to become a trusted adviser, reduce operational overhead and deliver long-term business value.

Delivering on their promise to deliver solutions best fitted for your organization, the Microsoft partner added MXDR capabilities to its security services portfolio.

MXDR, which stands for Managed Extended Detection and Response, is an outsourced security service that provides advanced detection and response capabilities using a combination of digital technologies and human-led expertise. MXDR combines human expertise and the latest digital tools to enable robust data collection and correlation capabilities, as well as continuous threat hunting, threat monitoring, and incident response — all delivered as a service.

MXDR automates detection alerts and applies pre-determined rules to help security teams distinguish between benign events or false positives and true threats. The system then distills this information into actionable insights for the security team, enabling them to prioritize activity. Other key security capabilities within MXDR include threat intelligence, continuous threat detection, vulnerability management, threat hunting, guided response, remediation and cyber forensics.

MXDR is designed to provide specialist resources available around the clock. Monitoring your environment and triaging incidents that need immediate attention in a timely manner is critical to maintaining a healthy security posture.

The new MXDR capabilities are available for Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel. Invoke partnered with CRITICALSTART, a partner in Microsoft Managed Extended Detection and Response security services program, to provide advanced technology, expert analysts and 24x7x365 threat monitoring and response activities to detect every alert, resolve every alert and respond to breaches.

“Our new MXDR capabilities for Microsoft 365 Defender, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Sentinel, in partnership with CRITICALSTART, ensures our customers are protected against evolving cybersecurity threats in real-time,” said Stephen Leuthold, Director of Modern Work and Security at Invoke.

As one of the top .01% of all Microsoft U.S. partners with multiple Solution partner designation, Invoke’s experts help customers to achieve their digital imperative, leveraging the global scale and velocity to market with the Microsoft Cloud.
