MSP Expo Platinum Sponsor Wildix Develops UC Solution to Support Apple Vision Pro

By Greg Tavarez

Apple announced the Apple Vision Pro, a mixed-reality headset, in June 2023. The headset is Apple's first spatial computer and 3D camera. The headset has an OLED display, custom prescription lenses and Vision OS. It also has an advanced spatial audio system, which creates the feeling that sounds are coming from the environment around you.

Starting at $3,499, the Apple Vision Pro will be available in the U.S. early 2024 and will be available in more countries later that year. While the headset does have a release date, developers do have access to software development kits, which allow them to deliver applications before the product release date.

Not even a full three months after the headset’s announcement, Wildix, a pioneer behind the web-centric unified communications and collaboration solution, created a premier unified communications resolution that supports the Apple Vision Pro headset.

Wildix facilitates corporate expansion utilizing secure offerings that deploy cutting-edge technology to aid organizations at every stage of their client experience. To put into perspective of what Wildix has done since its founding in 2005, more than a million operational users trust Wildix's communication solutions, and numerous enterprises spanning 135 nations have seen reductions in costs, streamlined operational workflows and the acquisition of novel business resources, all of which ensure a favorable return on investment.

Wildix's support of the Apple Vision Pro headset entails comprehensive harmonization with the headset software, thereby enabling users to engage in VR-based meetings, conversations and telephonic exchanges with ease. This marks the preliminary stage preceding the comprehensive establishment of virtual conferencing spaces, universally accessible across the globe.

The solution is supported on Wildix’s original platform, Collaboration, and its latest sales-oriented platform, x-bees.

Wildix's Collaboration is a user-friendly communication and collaboration platform for businesses. It combines real-time messaging, voice and video calling, screen sharing and file sharing in one interface. The platform supports remote work and virtual meetings while safeguarding sensitive data.

According to Wildix, x-bees is a customer communications platform built to accelerate the B2B pipeline by allowing sales teams to keep in touch with prospects and putting all the decision makers in one place.

With the support from Collaboration and x-bees, the solution is primarily focused on providing the interface as a heads-up display. There are plans to deliver far more features, however.

“Imagine being able to walk virtually into a room where you see everybody within it,” said Elena Kornilova, Product Marketing Manager at Wildix. “While this technology currently allows us to see those in front of us through webcams with a virtual room background, we could eventually develop this further into a complete virtual room setting — making it even easier to create a truly effective hybrid working solution.”

This support is now available for all Wildix tools.

Wildix is a Platinum sponsor of MSP Expo, taking place in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, February 13-15, 2024. Part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW, MSP Expo is the premier event for MSPs, offering a three-day experience combining conference education, networking opportunities, an exhibit hall full of the latest technologies and solutions to help MSPs build their business, and more. Wildix will be in Booth #615 in the exhibit hall.
