With its Acquisition of Tigerpaw, Rev.io is Serving MSPs Better

By Alex Passett

For those unfamiliar, let’s talk about Rev.io.

Trusted by hundreds of service providers nationwide, Rev.io is guided by its mission to supply its clients – some of the industry’s top communications service providers – with automated billing and customer management solutions, back office software, bill-on-behalf capabilities, self-service portals and analytics. Efficient revenue growth is Rev.io’s top-of-mind objective for clients and end users. Simple as that.

And now, Rev.io has announced what it calls a “transformative acquisition.” Rev.io has acquired Tigerpaw, a software company that offers end-to-end professional solutions for businesses via a single, robust application. Not unlike Rev.io, servicing clients better is Tigerpaw’s constant; its business is helping people run their business confidently by increasing revenue without adding staff, decreasing billing time by up to 90%, closing more sales opportunities with targeted marketing campaigns, boosting billable hours and service technician utilization, and more.

Ergo, a smart acquisition for Rev.io.

At its core, Tigerpaw’s field-proven solutions offer MSPs and VARs an end-to-end PSA system that encompasses account management, sales automation, reporting, project management, RMM integration, invoicing, inventory tracking and additional technical features. Following this acquisition – which was financially backed by Primus Capital – Rev.io expects to align Tigerpaw’s operations and rebrand select products to articulate the company’s value to an even broader marketplace.

Per Brent Maropis, CEO of Rev.io:

“We welcome the Tigerpaw team to the Rev.io family, and we are excited to grow our portfolio of solutions for communications and managed service providers. Over these past several years, our goal has focused on expanding our offerings to both of these segments, especially as the lines between them continue to blur. For service providers that need to bill for recurring revenues, process payments at scale, support field techs and manage complex service organizations, we now have a comprehensive set of solutions to help them.”

And per James Foxall, CEO of Tigerpaw:

“This announcement marks the culmination of a near 40-year journey for the Tigerpaw team. We began as a startup family business, and we have consistently met the needs of service providers as both their businesses' needs and underlying technologies have evolved. Rev.io shares a very similar story, plus a proven track record of significant sales growth and outstanding service. Rev.io is the perfect partner to take Tigerpaw into its next generation."

For the latest updates from the MSP space – from next-gen technologies to new MSP growth strategies – don’t miss MSP Expo 2024. Taking place from February 13-15 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, MSP Expo is part of the broader #TECHSUPERSHOW experience.  With more than a dozen collocated conferences and events, #TECHSUPERSHOW and MSP Expo brings together business technology buyers, sellers, and partners for three days of education and networking, centered around the latest business tech trends and opportunities. And at MSP Expo 2024, Rev.io is a proud exhibitor. They will be found at Booth #659 on the expo floor.
