GoTo Announces New Tools and Integrations for Growing Demands

By Alex Passett

I write for MSP Today, as well as for IoT Evolution, Future of Work and other sites. Our team behind these publications also facilitates webinars on a regular cadence (details here). For our webinars, a platform we’ve used is GoTo and it’s been super clear why it’s been our go-to (pun intended); GoTo provides a hassle-free webinar software offering that allows us to focus more on each virtual event – and the interactivity therein – and less on undue technology-related headaches, in terms of setup, execution and also the attendee follow-up.

That’s one part of GoTo; it’s additional products include GoTo Connect, GoTo Contact Center, GoToMyPC, trainings, IT support, etc. GoTo’s tri-annual release cadence sees a lot of these releases and the changes made to their features, and this is important to note because today is another day of GoTo updates and change.

As of this morning, GoTo – in order to make business communications and workflows easier – has announced nearly 40 new features across its product portfolio.

Let’s look at a handful of GoTo’s latest focuses and what’s been added:

Strengthened Security for Tools, Devices, and Company Data:

GoTo’s new mobile device management offering, endpoint protection add-on, admin permissions, and Azure Active Directory Sync are designed to strengthen security and keep teams apprised of cyber threats and top proactive measures that can be taken.

User Experiences and AI:

Enhanced features like Disruption Free Unattended Access, Linux support expansion, webcam zoom and even an AI-enhanced script generator allow teams to work smarter.

Making Customers’ Decisions Easier with the Right Data:

GoTo’s new data visualization tools like Interaction Details, SMS Health Dashboard and Conversation Review help organizations discover opportunities and determine better results.

Productivity and Cost-Saving Resources

Higher success rates and lower dollar signs is the way to go. GoTo is boosting teams’ collaboration capabilities and cost-cutting opportunities alike through integrations with Microsoft Teams, Miro, and Bitdefender.

“We’re thrilled to offer customers new, critical features like dependable device security, cutting-edge AI-powered experiences, roadmaps for stronger business outcomes, and integrations that will save people time and money with data-driven successes,” Paddy Srinivasan, GoTo CEO, stated. “We listen intently to customers and continually evolve our products to meet their needs. As evidence, this latest seasonal innovation release is the culmination of months of work (along with ongoing customer conversations and optimizations) to ensure that our products are secure, innovative, easy to use, and of course reliable.”

This all comes a great time, given 80% of businesses are currently considering entire consolidations of communication, collaboration, and IT management tools. That has become a priority for them, according to GoTo’s 2023 IT Priorities Report.

Adapting to the times is a must, GoTo seems very much on the ball in that regard.
