CampusGuard’s mission is to be the most trusted partner for organizations running the gauntlet of cybersecurity and compliance challenges in today’s complex technological environments. CampusGuard’s dedicated security teams uncover vulnerabilities across computer systems, networks and applications to ensure that risks poised to uproot the integrity of an organization’s infrastructure are proactively thwarted.
Key to this news is that CampusGuard is also adept at streamlining PCI requirements processes by carefully evaluating program intricacies and providing a full compliance assessment to ensure everything is being met. Qualified Security Assessors (QSAs) and Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs) make up its Customer Advocate Team and hold CIP accreditation from the PCI Security Standards Council.
Last week, the CampusGuard firm launched CampusGuard Central 2.0, its newer-and-improved dynamic customer compliance portal for managing PCI DSS compliance statuses with one easy-to-use portal.
CampusGuard Central 2.0’s enhancements are many. They include:
- Support for PCI DSS v4.0, including SAQs with new response options and an enhanced Knowledgebase that is linked to the available Help feature
- Simultaneous support for both versions of the PCI DSS within a deployment
- Improved infrastructure to boost speed and responsivity
- An updated landing page featuring real-time compliance progress, action items that need to be addressed, and announcements
- Enriched CampusGuard Knowledgebase that features all five new sections from the PCI DSS: Purpose, Good Practice, Definitions/Examples/Info, Customized Approach Objective, and Applicability Notes
- Faster and more efficient navigation (featuring dropdown choices), allowing for smoother access to popular resources or locations from anywhere within the application
Per Judi Seguy, Director of Operations at CampusGuard:
“We were making extensive changes in Central to accommodate the new PCI DSS v4.0, so this was the perfect time to make enhancements to the underlying platform.”
“We reworked handling permissions for more granularity, the underlying architecture to improve speed and responsiveness, and the UI to make navigation easier,” Seguy added. “We retained the popular features like the color-coding on the admin page to quickly know each merchant's status, the clean layout of the AOC/SAQ sections for responding, and the multi-select rollup to easily summarize specific merchants into a single SAQ for submission to their acquirer. We're excited to share this new application with our customers!"
