MSSPs Can Overcome Unique Business Challenges with ManageEngine's Log360 Cloud MSSP Edition

By Greg Tavarez

Enterprises today often find it difficult to address security issues and improve their security maturity level. It makes sense. Financial constraints amid the current economic climate make any job challenging. Businesses are also finding that the total cost of implementing and administering security solutions, such as SIEM solutions, is higher than that of using managed security services.

As a result, more and more companies are turning to Managed Security Service Providers, or MSSPs, to fulfill their security needs. Working with an MSSP allows organizations to offload the responsibility of managing their security infrastructure to an expert third-party. This frees up internal resources and allows organizations to focus on their core business activities.

Still, MSSPs do have their own challenges. These include maintaining their clients' securities while keeping data segregation intact, as well as optimizing resource utilization and upkeep costs to enhance their profit margins.

To help MSSPs address the unique business challenges they face and drive up their profit margins, ManageEngine, the enterprise IT management division of Zoho, launched the MSSP edition of its cloud-based-SIEM solution, Log360 Cloud.

ManageEngine provides a holistic approach to IT management, allowing businesses to monitor and manage their entire IT environment from a single platform.

Its Log360 Cloud MSSP Edition offers data segregation with multi-tenancy, which enables MSSPs to manage multiple customer profiles from a single console without compromising data security. The data of each customer is logically separated from that of others using secure protocols in the framework.

Log360 Cloud ensures the security of MSSPs' and their customers' data through encryption at rest and in transit, with compliance with several standards, including GDPR and CSA STAR. The solution guarantees around-the-clock availability of services, is hosted on Zoho's cloud infrastructure, and follows its operational security protocols, ensuring high availability, resilience, and business continuity.

Log360 Cloud also offers high security features, including extensive auditing and reporting, forensic analysis, TDIR, compliance management, security analytics and cloud security. Moreover, it provides flexible pricing, allowing MSSPs to choose granular data retention policies and storage space allocation for each of their customers, which saves a lot on resource utilization and log storage costs without affecting performance.

Log360 Cloud also promises quick deployment with a simple sign-up process, preconfigured modules, and simple enablement procedures.

"Leveraging the advantages of cloud deployment, MSSPs can ensure data segregation and security with no additional effort,” said Manikandan Thangaraj, vice president of ManageEngine. “Log360 Cloud also offers multi-tenancy; RBACs in addition to security analytics; and incident management and threat detection, investigation and response features, making it the perfect fit to address the requirements of MSSPs.”
