ESentire Gains Deep Instinct Trait Against Unknown and Zero-Day Attacks

By Greg Tavarez

The rising prevalence and damaging effects of ransomware and data exfiltration attacks on businesses only emboldens the importance of proactive cybersecurity. This means that solutions need to be able to detect and respond to unknown and zero-day attacks in real time – through the means of managed detection and response cybersecurity services.

ESentire provides MDR cybersecurity services with threat response capabilities that meet the demands of a proactive cybersecurity solution. Wanting to add its speed and efficacy to eSentire’s capabilities is Deep Instinct. Therefore, the two are in a partnership to equip eSentire customers with a solution that detects and responds to unknown and zero-day attacks in real-time, preventing their spread before they cause significant damage.

Deep Instinct has a history of using AI-based deep learning technology to predict and prevent unknown and zero-day cyber threats. Similarly, eSentire renowned as a provider of MDR cybersecurity services, with a proven track record of protecting organizations from cyber threats.

Deep Instinct’s efficacy, combined with eSentire’s investigative capabilities, provides customers with an unprecedented level of protection against cyber threats. This partnership will not only protect eSentire customers but also drive industry-wide innovation in the MDR and MSSP markets, setting the stage for more proactive and effective approaches to cybersecurity.

“Deep Instinct’s partnership with eSentire validates our belief that remediation after a breach is inadequate and too late, and a proactive security approach is what is required to keep organizations safe,” said Lane Bess, CEO of Deep Instinct.

This strategic partnership will benefit from the unique strengths of both companies. Deep Instinct’s AI-based solution employs advanced deep learning to identify and mitigate cyber threats before they execute. Moreover, eSentire provides a comprehensive set of MDR capabilities that leverage threat intelligence and incident response expertise to detect and mitigate cyber threats.

“ESentire is committed to helping organizations globally anticipate, withstand and recover from cyber-attacks,” said Kerry Bailey, CEO of eSentire. “With Deep Instinct, we share a mutual mission of stopping attacks before they spread in order to prevent business disruption.”

The partnership also adds Amit Mital, an eSentire board member, to Deep Instinct’s Board of Directors. Mital brings over 30 years of industry experience, including serving as a corporate vice president at Microsoft, where he led the conceptualization and execution of disruptive technologies and products.
