High Wire Networks Announces Overwatch SOAR

High Wire Networks Announces Overwatch SOAR

By Greg Tavarez

Managed security services provider High Wire Networks announced the addition of Overwatch SOAR in its Overwatch Managed Security Services division.

SOAR is a Security Orchestration, Automation and Response solution. Through SOAR, a layer of cyber defense will be added to High Wire’s Overwatch Managed Security Services, which can help it reach into client IT environments and stop active cyberthreats in progress, reduce mean time to repair/remediate, or MTTR, and minimize the impact of cyberattacks.

Overwatch SOAR will infuse orchestration and automation into Overwatch partners' security infrastructure; will enrich incidents with threat intelligence and incident knowledge in real-time, eliminating 90% of the time wasted on false positives; and will automate repetitive processes by using a library of playbooks and utility actions or building workflows with ease.

“Our significant investment in SOAR technology represents a massive leap forward in our Overwatch managed security roadmap and a continuation of our relentless pursuit to drive tremendous value for our partners," said High Wire Networks Chief Technology Officer David Barton. "The result is that the Overwatch security team can run multiple remediation processes simultaneously. What would take humans minutes can be done in seconds and thousands of times all at once, resulting in greater protection for our MSP partners and their customers."

Overwatch SOAR will help MSPs and MSSPs exceed Tier 1 task management by consolidating data from across clients' security stacks and providing the advanced investigative capabilities needed to respond to and resolve threats.

Overwatch SOAR will also eliminate the risk of vendor lock-in with a vendor-agnostic security operations solution, keeping with High Wire's vendor-agnostic model for technology and service delivery.

Additional benefits of Overwatch SOAR include:

  • Operationalizing the MITRE ATT&CK threat model currently used by Overwatch 24/7. Overwatch 24/7 combines a 24/7 security operations center, or SOC, with open extended detection and response, or XDR, technology and managed endpoint detection and response, or EDR.
  • Generating valuable SOC metrics and keeping analysts focused on real threats.
  • Proactively searching across the stack for risky indicators of compromise or tactics, techniques and procedures of threat actors.
  • Closing the loop by triggering an automated response.

High Wire Networks is exhibiting at MSP Expo in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, June 21-24, 2022, where attendees can hear MSP business owners and technology specialists share strategies on how to grow managed services businesses as part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW experience. #TECHSUPERSHOW includes nearly a dozen collocated business technology events that bring buyers, users, sellers and partners together under one roof to educate and build business relationships around the technologies driving business success today. High Wire Networks, a Platinum Sponsor, will exhibit at Booths #341 and #442.
