UiPath Adds Automation-as-a-Service Offering to the Finastra Cloud

By Tracey E. Schelmetic

In recent years, cloud computing has been offering financial services companies a wide horizon of solutions for improved operations, including opportunities for agility and modernity that legacy models simply can’t deliver. Many companies offer cloud technology solutions that provide financial services companies with a choice of deployments – public, private and hybrid cloud – that will fit the company’s needs. In fact, according to Finastra, the entire financial services industry is re-inventing itself to be faster, smarter, and easier to use, and cloud computing is increasingly seen as the route to achieving this.

Finastra is building an open platform that accelerates collaboration and innovation in financial services, creating better experiences for people, businesses, and communities. The London-based company offers a portfolio of products and solutions to the retail banking, transaction banking, lending, and treasury capital markets. This week, it added a new solution to its portfolio.

Automation solutions provider UiPath says it plans to make available a new automation-as-a service offering on the Finastra cloud. The solution was designed to provide a managed service model for automation to Finastra’s thousands of banking, credit union, and financial institution customers. With the new offering, UiPath and its partners can design, install, deploy, run, and maintain automated processes to enable the banking sector to leverage the power of automation along with the security and compliance of cloud-based infrastructure from Finastra.

“While nearly every bank is tapping into the cloud in some format, only a small percentage are using cloud to support automation for mission-critical operations,” said Riteesh Singh, SVP & General Manager, Marketplaces at Finastra. “The UiPath Automation as a Service offering is a perfect opportunity for financial institutions to take advantage of the operational efficiencies and cost savings automation can bring while ensuring data security, privacy, and lower total cost of ownership on Finastra’s open platform. Banks using the UiPath ‘Automation in a Box’ managed service can digitize faster, extend core offerings, and focus more resources on customer-centric services.”

To learn more about how financial services companies can benefit from cloud-based automation, plan to attend MSPEXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSPEXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place June 21 - 24, 2022 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website
