There is major demand for knowledgeable IT professionals, furthermore those with cyber security expertise. CEO Charles Weaver explained MSPAlliance intends to work with Boise State’s cyber security program on a special curriculum, helping students become familiar with common tools and programs (such as Stellar Cyber’s Open XDR) they will need experience with in professional settings.

Weaver noted, “What we said to Boise State and to Stellar was we would then like to take it one further step and say ‘could we add some additional training, additional criteria, that is unique to an MSP and that would make those graduates even more appealing to an to an MSP who would be able to identify them and hire them very quickly upon graduation?'”

This unique program will be a major benefit for graduates, allowing the next generation of the workforce to hit the ground running.. At the same time, this could also make Boise State a recruitment hub for MSPs seeking up-and-coming talent .
