Cerberus Sentinel Adds Ashley Devoto as CISO

By Luke Bellos

Arizona-based managed compliance and cybersecurity provider Cerberus Sentinel recently announced Ashley Devoto as the company’s new Chief Information Security Officer. As part of her new role, Devoto will now be responsible for managing all cybersecurity operations and customer solution deliveries.

Devoto is quite familiar with the world of cybersecurity, boasting 17 years of professional experience with a number of notable companies. Before joining Cerberus, Devoto was CISO of Booz Allen Hamilton, as well as Business Information Security Officer (BISO) for Bank of America.

As an United States Air Force (USAF) veteran, Devoto also worked in cybersecurity operations for Air Force Computer Emergency Response Team (AFCERT), and held the position of defensive cyber operations planner at 24th Air Force and NORAD/USNORTHCOM.

“It is an honor and privilege to welcome such a seasoned and talented leader to Cerberus Sentinel,” said David Jemmett, CEO. “Ashley brings a strategic mindset and deep technical expertise, and that powerful combination is what makes her uniquely qualified to serve as our CISO. As a proven cybersecurity practitioner, she brings extensive experience across military, financial services, and professional services organizations.

With cybersecurity support spiking in demand across the business world, Devoto’s previous experience and clear technical expertise will surely benefit Cerberus’s future development.

"I am excited to draw on my experience designing, building, and operating cybersecurity organizations to sharpen and drive our strategy to bring substantive change to how our clients protect themselves from cyber risk. Our mission is to reframe the dynamic into one in which organizations see cybersecurity as a part of their success culture and not a collection of products or point solutions.
