Evo Security Revs Up Development with $3.9M Series Seed Investment Round

By Luke Bellos

Security is a serious matter in the business world. And with threats like ransomware and network exploits becoming more sophisticated, cybersecurity experts and MSPs are leveraging innovation technology to fortify vulnerabilities and combat the threats of the digital world.

One company attempting to fend off the wave of threats in the digital business landscape is Evo Security, a Texas-based cybersecurity startup focusing on helping managed service providers tackle overlooked technical challenges for customers. Known for its Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution tailored for MSPs, Evo provides protection for critical application and data.

The company is attempting to accelerate presence after announcing a $3.9 million Series Seed investment round, being led by Sorenson Ventures, Inner Loop Capital, Secure Octane, Channel Angels, as well as strategic angel investors.

The funding from this investment will assist in expanding the capabilities of the Evo’s IAM solution, introduce new product features, and continue partner development.

"Identity and Access Management is not new for the enterprise, but it is for over half of MSPs and their SMB customers around the world. With the attack surface expanding rapidly into the SMB space, and IAM emerging as the cornerstone of a zero-trust approach, it's time MSPs have a purpose-built solution that can easily fit into their managed stack. We're incredibly excited to draw a line in the sand and serve our MSP Partners in a way that is long overdue," said Michael Roth, Founder & CEO of Evo Security.

Join MSP EXPO from June 21-24, 2022 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida to hear from leading industry professionals about how Managed Service Providers create secure, productive, and connected business environments to thrive in the global economy.
