OST Acquires Stratum Technology

OST Acquires Stratum Technology

By Luke Bellos

Business technology consultancy firm OST recently announced the acquisition of Stratum Technology, a Texas-based cloud service provider. As a result of the acquisition, executives with the company intend to utilize Stratum’s technical knowledge and experience to expand upon OST cloud services.

Cloud support is now a necessity in the increasingly remote/hybrid focused global economy, which means more businesses than ever are investing in managed services to guarantee their network and related tech components are running smoothly. This acquisition will now enable OST to not only become a single, reliable source for cloud services, but also provide certified support and expertise for the wide range of Microsoft and AWS solutions businesses depend on.

"Stratum has been a market leader in cloud integration and managed services for the last six years," said Stratum CEO/Co-Founder Ryan Trimberger. "Our customers had an appetite for other services that were outside of our core business, and we found OST to be the perfect fit both technically and culturally for our employees and customers. This acquisition with OST is a strategic move to better serve our customers as demand grows for cloud, IoT, healthcare-focused cloud deployments and managed services."

OST leaders have made impressive progress over the last few years to accelerate the company’s regional business development. In September of 2020, the company partnered with Azul Seven, a design firm based out of Minneapolis, to expand OST’s presence to new clients throughout the midwest. With Statum now officially acquired, OST now has the talent and collective experience needed to thrive in the highly competitive cloud/managed services space.

"For 25 years, OST has walked alongside clients to architect, build and manage how and where technology runs," added OST President/CEO Meredith Bronk. "The acquisition of Stratum Technology is a reflection of rapid acceleration in this space and ensures that OST continues to drive meaningful and valuable outcomes for our clients."
