TD SYNNEX Customers Will Soon Have Access To Megaport Private SDN Platform

In an effort to make their cloud services perform better, companies today are looking for ways to build their network architecture on a foundation of dedicated connectivity. Network as-a-service (NaaS) provider Megaport Limited has made a name for itself offering companies the power, agility, and speed for connecting their resources and conducting business in the cloud. Using the Megaport service, companies can build, deploy, and manage connectivity to multiple cloud providers across different regions – all in one place, bringing networks together and getting better control over how they move data into public and private clouds.

This week, Megaport announced a partnership with IT distributor and solutions aggregator TD SYNNEX to make Megaport’s global, private software defined network (SDN) platform available to TD SYNNEX customers.

“Bringing Megaport’s leading Network as a Service platform into the TD SYNNEX portfolio makes it easier for customers to modernize their network connectivity and connect quickly to leading cloud service providers,” said Rodney Foreman, Chief Revenue Officer at Megaport, in a statement. “TD SYNNEX’s global scale and reach, combined with their expertise in IT solutions, makes them an ideal partner to expand our channel relationships.”

Using the Megaport SDN platform, TD SYNNEX will be able to seamlessly connect their private infrastructure to their public or private cloud resources with a fully redundant network, giving TD SYNNEX the privacy, reliability, and control they would expect from a high-performance hybrid cloud architecture.

Megaport enhances the TD SYNNEX portfolio of networking services by enabling customers to deploy a global, high-availability network in minutes, not months. Megaport’s NaaS platform provides private, scalable, on-demand connectivity to the world’s leading cloud services providers, such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud. The company’s solutions enable agile, flexible, high-performance networking for a fraction of the cost of traditional methods.

"TD SYNNEX is committed to delivering IT solutions to our customers that unlock their growth," said Cheryl Neal, vice president of New Vendor Acquisition, TD SYNNEX. "Adding Megaport’s Network as a Service offerings to our vast portfolio of IT solutions enables our customers to do great things with technology and will help accelerate their digital transformation initiatives."

To learn more about how managed service providers can help companies improve their cloud strategy, plan to attend MSPEXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSPEXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place from June 21-24, 2022, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website
