Curator Hotel Chooses LEFCON and VENZA for Cybersecurity and PCI Compliance

By Tracey E. Schelmetic

The communications and customer support needs of the hotel industry are very specialized. Hotels tend to be heavy users of multichannel communications, and they process financial transactions on a daily basis, necessitating robust security for personal customer information in accordance with PCI compliance.

The Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standard is an information security standard for organizations handling credit cards from major card services companies. The PCI Standard is mandated by the card brands but administered by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council.

To maintain financial services security, including PCI compliance, Curator Hotel & Resort Collection recently announced it has chosen LEFCON and VENZA as preferred partners to provide cybersecurity and IT services solutions to its portfolio of more than 80 independent hotels and resorts. In addition, VENZA has been named as the preferred partner for PCI compliance solutions. LEFCON and VENZA were chosen due to their global reach, next generation antivirus and security offerings, commitment to customer success, and industry reputation, according to Curator.

LEFCON is a managed services provider that tailors its solutions to meet the requirements of the hospitality business. LEFCON deploys solutions for email, security and compliance, asset management, and proactive network monitoring; all backed by a 24/7 support team and state of the art network operations center.  VENZA already works with many of Curator’s founding member properties to provide hospitality-focused customer service and security tools, such as antivirus software, firewall management, help desk support, log and threat monitoring and remote monitoring and management.

“Cybersecurity, including PCI compliance and information technology systems are complex and interrelated,” said Austin Segal, Vice President of Curator Hotel & Resort Collection, in a statement. “Our partnership with LEFCON and VENZA provide our member hotels with access to predictive analytics to pinpoint and mitigate risks immediately. What were once isolated risks can now spread and cause cascading effects throughout a hotel’s operating system. LEFCON and VENZA provide trusted IT management solutions that will greatly benefit our ownership groups and management companies.”

To learn more about how managed service providers can help companies attain cybersecurity and PCI compliance, plan to attend MSPEXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSPEXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place from June 21-24, 2022, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website
