Pax8 Announces Acquisition of TVG

By Luke Bellos

According to a recent article by CRN, cloud solution distribution company Pax8 recently announced the acquisition of Latvian cloud services/software distributor, TVG. Pax8 intends to utilize TVG’s partner channel and regional knowledge to expand its business reach across the Baltic region.

Although Pax8 is based in Colorado, the company has a significant number of customers throughout Europe. After recognizing the rapid demand for cloud services within Baltic countries, leaders with the company decided to extend their business reach with additional support from an organization with a similar business perspective.

“Something that most people don‘t know is that they are very digitally developed societies,” Harald Nuij, managing director of Pax8 Europe told CRN. “Estonia has made incredible progress on their digital journey in terms of digital public services. They are in fact one of the front runners [and] one of the most advanced digital societies in the world. This is something that we see coming down to the IT service provider environment.”

TVG is a smaller cloud services company, housing only 14 employees to support three offices in Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. The company offers a wide range of popular business software to customers, including products from brands like Microsoft, Adobe, ManageEngine, and TeamViewer. Despite the company’s size, Pax8 leaders seem to feel confident the company’s combination of industry expertise and cultural understanding will be an asset for expanding business throughout the Baltics and Europe.

“They are highly skilled, and because they are so cloud focused that perfectly aligns with what we have within the Pax8 and Resello,” Nuij added. “It’s a perfect match.”
