Solano County, California Extends MSP Contract with Avenu Insights & Analytics

By Tracey E. Schelmetic

Officials in Solano County, California recently announced plans to extend the managed services contract agreement with Centreville, Virginia-based Avenu Insights & Analytics. Earlier this month, the Solano County Board of Supervisors signed off on a two-year, $15.07 million contract extension to provide IT managed services. Solano County is located in the north of the state, just south of the capital city of Sacramento.

For several years, Avenu Insights & Analytics has been listed on the prestigious GovTech 100 List. Put together by Government Technology magazine, the list represents “the top 100 companies focused on, making a difference in, and selling to state and local government agencies across the United States.

As a provider in state and local government solutions, Avenu helps drive results for governments and the communities they serve through administrative and revenue enhancement solutions. Avenu provides comprehensive software solutions that reduce costs and improve efficiencies, while also providing an ecosystem of revenue management services that identify and recover untapped revenue. State and local governments partner with Avenu to increase revenue without raising taxes, streamline internal operations, and improve services by enhancing connectivity for constituents.

In extending the contract, which was orginally set to expire at the end of 2021, the Solano County Board of Supervisors indicated its goal was to continue business continuity for the county government.

“This transformation of services empowers full-time county staff to focus on maintaining Solano County IT intellectual property, engineering new solutions, and improving business relationships with other department county staff help,” the staff report to the board stated.

To learn more about how managed service providers can help support local governments, plan to attend MSP EXPO, part of the #TECHSUPERSHOW series. MSP EXPO has been designed to help service providers understand how they can drive more recurring revenue, increase the valuation of their companies, grow, and protect their networks and deliver better customer service. It will also help companies looking for MSP partners to understand how MSPs can help them grow. The show will take place from February 8-11, 2022, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. For more information or to register, visit the show website
