Henson Group Secures Two ISO Certifications

Henson Group Secures Two ISO Certifications

By Luke Bellos

Managed services company Henson Group recently revealed it secured two new ISO certifications, confirming the company is meeting the quality and security standards for the International Organization for Standardization.

The Henson Group received certifications in both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001. ISO 9001 is a widely known certification for managed service providers, which sets requirements for quality management systems to ensure they meet meticulous customer and regulatory standards. ISO 27001, while somewhat lesser known, is equally as important as it confirms the security measures of IT services are rigorous, capable of handling a wide range of cybersecurity risks.

The adoption of managed services is skyrocketing across all sectors of business, which means customers have more options than ever when considering who to pick as a service provider. Because of this reality, customers need to be certain their MSPs are running their operations efficiently at all times. At the same time, managed services customers must be certain their providers are well protected against ongoing cybersecurity threats, which are becoming more prominent in the post-pandemic economy.

“These certifications demonstrate that we have the expertise to deliver digital solutions that exceed our clients’ expectations,” said Varinder Singh Vashisht, Director of managed services, Henson Group. “In a time when cybersecurity is top of mind for all companies, the ISO 27001 certification is especially important because it means Henson Group has been recognized for providing state-of-the art cybersecurity measures. And with the average cost of a data breach costing more than $5 million, having a cybersecurity program in place is more important than ever.”
