Datavalet Announces Acquisition of SecurEdge

By Luke Bellos

Managed network/SaaS company Datavalet recently revealed it has acquired the managed services division of Network-as-a-service company SecurEdge Networks.

The company intends to use SecurEdge resources and technical expertise to further develop its own product portfolio, as well to increase business activity across the United States.

"Datavalet is a leading managed network services provider that shares our values, vision, and focus on customer experience," commented SecurEdge CEO Philip Wegner. "With the Datavalet team already supporting 240 million user sessions per year, our customers' networks will be in good hands."

As part of this acquisition, SecurEdge employees will continue to focus their attention on refining its NaaS platform while Datavelt intends to take over all matters related to delivery, management and network support.

While this announcement relationship is certainly excellent for both Datavalet and SecurEdge, customers from both sides will now be eligible for new benefits that include:

  • 24/7/365 monitoring and support from Datavalet's network operations center
  • Increased number of certified  IT Engineers
  • Access to new hardware and technology vendors
  • Orchestration support for the SecurEdge Platform
  • Access to SecurEdge’s Wifi Solution suite
  • Extended coverage across the Us and Canada
  • Customer experience manager support

"SecurEdge is a natural partner for Datavalet, given our complementary expertise" says Datavalet CEO Daniel Forest. "Our respective clients will now benefit from more value-building network services and solutions to take business growth further, all delivered and supported by a world-class team with decades of expertise."
