MOD Mission Critical/Cologix Expand PaaSPort Offering to New Regions

By Luke Bellos

Platform-as-a-service company MOD Mission Critical has announced it will be extending an existing partnership with data center/colocation service provider, Cologix. As part of this continuation, Cologix will now offer Mod’s PaaSPort suite of solutions for businesses in new regions through the Cologix Access Marketplace.

Businesses in Dallas, Minneapolis and Toronto will now be able to take advantage of notable PaaSPortsolutions, including managed services, internet connectivity, and  private networking. Additionally, MOD has initiated an ‘Any Enterprise’ approach to its offerings, providing comparable services to businesses regardless of size.

“Simply put, our solution meets the needs of ‘Any Enterprise.’ We often see customers very effective at large-scale deployments, however, when it comes to the edge or international markets where smaller and more nimble infrastructure is required, it can quickly become overwhelming,” says Mike Hollander, CEO of MOD Mission Critical. “Cologix’s facilities and their customers are an ideal fit for our PaaSPort solution.

The demand for managed services has risen dramatically over the last two years, and enterprises continue to adapt to changes in modern work culture. However, numerous offerings are specifically tailored to large-scale operations, leaving small to mid-sized businesses out of the equation. With PaaSPort, any eligible business can take advantage of MOD’s suite without meeting specific size requirements.

“With varying needs from customer to customer, MOD’s PaaSPort  solution provides an easy-to-use platform that offers our customers the ability to dynamically purchase exactly what they need, when they need it,” adds Neal Elinski, General Manager, Cloud and Connectivity Platforms for Cologix. “We are excited to include MOD’s PaaSPort solution in our Access Marketplace, empowering our customers to access the services and support they need from trusted industry experts.”
